Kodak EasyShare 5500 All-in-One Specifications

By Felisa Yang on 05/03/2008

More Kodak Australia reviews , RRP: AU$349.00

The good:

  • Decent print quality
  • Built-in memory card slots
  • Two host USB ports
  • Dedicated 4x6 photo paper tray
  • Automatic document feeder
  • Cheap replacement ink

The bad:

  • Slow prints and scans
  • No onboard photo-editing options
  • Relies heavily on included Kodak software for extended feature sets, rather than putting features on the control panel
  • Can't do anything with the printer if an ink tank is empty
  • Fax feature set is skimpy

The bottomline:

Kodak packs a host of features in the EasyShare 5500, but fails to flesh them out sufficiently. We found this all-in-one printer frustrating to use.
