I went from a good print to a cheap peice of junk to this printer and love it. I'm just a novice but wonder why cnet has given it a poor review. Print quality is great, dual feed path is great to have for the first time, scanning negatives is great, everything is great !
Pros: The joy of finally owning a very good printer.
It seems Cnet has really gone wrong with this review. The vast majority of reviews from both technology publications and users have been positive. The negative reviews have been in response to problems with faulty ink tanks. I would urge Cnet Australia to actually review this unit instead of reprinting the US review and to actualy publish a review that is article.
I have tested this printer and scan and print quality is top quality. One acid test was using the copy function without a computer to make a full colour copy of a glossy book cover. It reproduced the book cover extremely accurately, better than a dedicated Canon CCD scanner can do.
Set up is easy, design is stylish though quite tall and operation is nice and quiet.
A very good quality machine offering performance and value. Just don't listen to Cnet.
Pros: Very high print and scan quality
Scans film and slides
Networkable
Cons: Quite large, particularly in height
No fax
No USB or Ethernet cable included
Fairly short power cable
Awesome All in one Printer highly recommend for novice to pro's looking for a professional printer thats intuitive & brilliant in all its functions, i was origanaly a touch hesitant in purchasing after a couple of reviews very a tad critical but im so glad to have gone with my choice as it's a beaut printer Go Out & By 1 you wont be Dissapointed...
Pros: High quality results in everyday printing & Quality Photos, Fast, Direct to DVD/CD Printing, Dual Paper Path, Duplexing, Great Value for Money i could go on & on but i'll leave it there :o)
Cons: no built in bluetooth but having an adapter available to buy is great
