Pyramat S2000 Sound Rocker

An impractical but entertaining addition to a gamer's bedroom or the lounge room, the S2000 "sound chair" brings a bit of arcade-style fun home.

  • Good: Looks very cool, nice sound and base.
    This chair can give some cool feed back when playing games and watching movies and because the chair is that good for a novelty chair it makes me want a even more powerfull chair so that has to be a good thing.
  • Bad: Aint cheap for your average gamer.
    
    Not for everyone more of an novelty.
    
    First day i got it i felt abit funny after using it for afew hours on the night because i had it on full whack, abit like how you feel after a day at a theme park or after a long ride in a car... but that soon went away and i have not had that feeling agian since using it.
    
    Lower back can get abit of cramp in it if using it for along time but saying that i am tall so might be ok for most.
    

  Defo a must for hardcore gamers, works good with games that have alot of base and using it with FPS and racing games are a must.

  • Good: Nice bass thump in the back. Overall volume is as loud as most people could tolerate.
  • Bad: 1. As I'm 195cm tall, I'd like it to have a bit more lumbar and thigh support. Can get muscle tiredness if I don't shift around and stretch regularly.
    2. Difficult to set a low volume - it's either off or relatively loud.
    3. The volume and bass knobs are too easy to turn therefore you have to be careful not to bump them lest you scare yourself through the roof!

  I've fixed the rocker into a wood cradle inside my sim-racing cockpit and it adds great feedback.

  • Good: Great sound, wrks with my MP3 player great!
  • Bad: Exspensive!

  Sweet chair, don't know why computer gaming would be associated with a rocker chair accoding to other reviewers

  • Good: sounds great, super comfortable, but extended hours of gameplay might leave you with a kinked neck. perhaps the s3000 if it ever happens will have an adjustable headrest?
  • Bad: not really applicable for PC gaming, as it sits on the floor.

  this thing RAWKS

  9 out of 10, would be 12 out of 10 if it could be adjusted for hight to play on the PC with.
