GPS technology has come a long way in the Road Angel Navigator, but for real benefit on the road, it still has a way to go.

    • Good: excellent points of interest,
has alerted me to speed cameras in unknown locations
i like the voice i call her Lois!
    • Bad: takes forever to pick up signal.
frequently alerts me to speed cameras that are not there. often stops working when you need it most i.e after just leaving the motorway.

good when/or should i say if it works!

    • Good: Acurate when working
    • Bad: Can take an entire journey to register. Once took 50mins. Software also unstable and telephone support bad.

    Overpriced

    • Good: I can hopefully get my money back!
    • Bad: Very poor instructions, late and downright incorrect at times, couldn't get the update from the internet, couldn't read the screen in daylight, despite buying it yesterday, I got home to see a later version of maps was available at a price, the list goes on.

    Hopeless waste of money

Having previous trialed my father's Navman 520 this was a completely useless navigator. The advice was too sparse, ambiguous and often too late to act upon. A huge disappointment as it was a birthday present from my wife.
