Samsung Galaxy S III unveiled in leaked press invite

(Credit: Phandroid)

Samsung has been keeping its cards close to the chest when it comes to its upcoming flagship handset. However, a leaked press invite seems to have revealed a sleek new design that is a huge deviation from previous form factors, especially with its silvery surface.

If the invite is accurate, then expect to see Samsung's new flagship smartphone unveiled in London on 22 May. Rumoured specs include 4.65-inch Super AMOLED Plus display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels. This would make it the first no-Pentile OLED display with HD resolution in a mobile phone. Lastly, rumours are also pointing to an S III with a quad-core processor and possibly LTE support.

At least it would be the first time that Samsung haven't just made a stretched version of the iPhone

The chrome looks horrible, it'd be sleek in black though.

This is the forth different "leaked" image i have seen in the last two weeks, all completely different.
1) Looks like the s2 but without touch buttons and a bigger screen.
2) Looks like the galaxy nexus just without a curved screen and the screen closer to the edges.
3) This hideous white phone. I am sorry, white and plastic glossy chrome will never work.......ever.
4) Now this one. This one looks the sexiest though.
