Wibro is not Korea's own technology and has no relation to broadcasting standards. Wibro is part of the mobile WiMAX international standard, which in turn follows the IEEE standard 802.16e.
Wibro is a specific 2.3GHz profile within the mobile WiMAX standard, using 8.75MHz channels.
