Samsung S2 Pebble
By Irene Mickaiel on 14 August 2008
It's an ideal MP3 player for the younger generation, yet cute enough to be a viable option for anyone who wants a cheap, no-fuss MP3 player.

- Good: Small, drag and drop music, easy to chuck around
- Bad: Music quality not amazing, proprietary USB charging adapter, crap audio enhancement (why bother), no screen
go ipod nanno, or ipod shuffle if you have a bigger budget. this isn't great for running around and is awkward to push buttons (harder to locate the right button as it's round so you don't know what is "up")

- Good: Good sound, small , CHEAP
- Bad: Battery is not so good, no screen
Great for something this small. I got this mp3 because I was o n a budget and didnt want to spend a fortune on a luxury mp3. Good sound and fits great. However its battery is a bit confusing. As it doesnt show how much battery life is left. However thats not the bad part, it constantly dies on me. it sometimes just doesnt open.

- Good: small, lightweigh, very cheap
- Bad: misleading battery life
There is no battery indicator, bad for me as I used to wonder why it died halfway through a day. Now have to charge it everynight, which is bad as it could only be half charged and i want to get the best i can out of my batteries. Other than that, the best mp3 player ive ever owned.

- Good: Size, size, size, price, price, price
- Bad: Nothing, considering the price
At 2gb per pebble, I bought several. Then loaded different styles of music (from a fairly large collection) onto each. Set to "shuffle" and away you go. Terrific in car - just plug into the Aux socket.

- Good: CHEAP, Small, light-weight
- Bad: Can't see songs
It may have started at around $30, but now you can get it for $19.99 at any local Best Buy (Def. check Best Buy, it's about $35 anywhere else). I love my Pebble! I'll sacrifice being able to see my songs and artists anyday. Also, when I had my nice iPod, I was constantly stressing about leaving it somewhere or having it suffer scratches and cracks. Now, if I do lose it, someone steals it, etc., I can just go out and by another. I can't say enough about how much I love this Pebble.

- Good: lanyard, user freindly, light on extra softeware
- Bad: cant see songs choice
I love the pebble. I throw it on in the car, I walk with it, run with it, garden with it.
After previously slicing through perhaps four or more headsets (tin snips, knives, pruning shears), I love the lanyard, that prevents it from swinging loose. I love that I dont need to use another program to transfer files to it. i just point, pick and throw over my music. Brilliant -

- Good: Drag and drop music. Doesn't get any better than this.
Extra points for price entry point - Bad: I have to rename folders with numbers if I want music played in that order. Fiddly but a good workaround
You could pick this up for less than $50.
- Good: Drag and drop music. Doesn't get any better than this.
