    • Good: Once calibrated, amazing picture quality. Huge amount of features and incredible slimness
    • Bad: Expensive?

    Bought this TV a few weeks ago and I think it has amazing picture quality which I would put up there with the Pioneer plasmas. Can't go wrong with this TV!

    • Good: thin,stylish, lots of features, great mounting system
    • Bad: wireless software.

    This is actually my second one the first one stopped working after a week.after the unit was mounted the screen just went white. i googled the problem and it has happened before with overseas units.
    samsung replaced the TV without question.
    Tv still rates high with me

    • Good: Once Adjusted, Best Picture I have seen, on todays market, 200hz, Media@2.0 so can share Music, Video and Photos from any PC/Laptop wirelessly,, Internet@TV, Content Manager/ Art work, Easy wall hanging kit, Easy Ergonomic Remote Control and Buttons, Wireless dongle works very well, no need for ethernet access. USB2.0 works well.
    • Bad: Only 3 widgets atm on Internet@TV, Want More - VIOD, Facebook, Linkedin ..Like IPOD IPhone/Touch Applications..need to pay extra for wireless dongle

    Absolutely amazing LED/LCD TV! Wireless is easy to setup .. Wall hanging kit is just simplicity it's self .. all hung, wireless and working in a day ..Only want more widgets on Internet eg Web2.0 widgets , Facebook, twitter, Linkedin, Plaxo, Myspace etc..

    Now bought HT-BD1250 and will have blu ray BDLive 1000w HD True Surround sound 5.1ch and wireless back speakers .. It's everything I wanted to do 4 years ago..when HD arrived in Australia.

    • Good: Thin, picture quality, connectivity
    • Bad: Power cable in wrong place, hard to hide wiring without expensive wiring for power cord

    This TV is brilliant. I have had it all since V1 of plasma's at $30K per unit. It has taken me 2 days to refine all the settings where the images and text can be on the same screen without distortion.
    Next version should be 3D

    • Good: Colour, Refresh Rate, Response Time, Image Quality, Contrast
    • Bad: Edge Clouding

    The only downfall to this screen is under certain conditions, the edges tend to show slight clouding due to the fact that this screen is actually edge-lit and not backlit, but it's a fair trade off for a 3cm thick screen, considering you should have another light source in the room when watching an LCD/LED screen at all times.

    Being Delivered today..

    Has Cnet done a ful review on the 8000 series.. ??
    what are the recommended settings to get the best picture quality??

    • Good: Has Medi@2.0, Internet@TV and DLNA wireless
    • Bad: Only 100MB not 1GB ethernet wired connection

    Series 8 is 200Hz not 100Hz as stated here.
    Series 6 & 7 are 100Hz.
