SanDisk outs 32GB microSDHC memory cards

The day has finally come — SanDisk's new 32GB microSDHC media is now available. That much storage in the tiny memory format works out to about 8000 songs (assuming that each track is 4MB), or according to SanDisk, equivalent to music playback on 35 round-trip flights between San Francisco and New York before you hear the same song twice.

The new microSDHC cards are based on a third-generation 32-nanometre X3 (3-bit-per-cell) technology, but we're sure you're more interested in how much it costs. It has a suggested retail price of US$200 which is probably what you'd pay for an entry-level smartphone. Well, at least it comes with a five-year warranty. This is currently available in the US and Europe with the rest of the world getting it next month.

Much as I like Sandisk products, this time I am quite annoyed. Had there been any clue this was finally coming, I might not have bought a 16GB card just last week.
I've been waiting for months for it, and just couldn't wait any longer without advice.
May thefleas of a thousand syphlitic camels infest the underwear of every SanDisk empoloyee.
