SanDisk Sansa e250 (2GB)
By Randolph Ramsay on 26 July 2006
SanDisk has produced a winner with its e series of players. Not only do the units have a great list of features, its price makes it a very compelling proposition for those looking for a small MP3 player.

The best Mp3 ever made, its way better than those Ipod shitboxes, plus its cheaper!
- Good: Colour screen, I dont find the buttons too hard to press, plus you can charge it by plugging it into ur playstation!
- Bad: No custom EQ

Excellent but not perfect
Just got my e250 today very pleased with it. plays everything i want it too and the video playback is good. buttons are quite hard to press and the wheel as many have stated isnt that good but on the whole an excellent player and with firmware fixes could be a great one.
- Good: Strong durable, looks fantastic sounds awsome. The larger screen is nice as is the video playback
- Bad: takes forever and day to boot up. no custom eq (yet). plastic center wheel feels cheap. buttons hard to press.

Great MP3 player for the rest of us!!
Worked out of the box but I dowload from Sandisk the firmware update program and immediately updated the firmware. After a little fiddling have found the menu system quite intuitive. Transferring files was as simple as click and drag into the music folder and then it automatically updates its database when you disconnect. All in all a winner!
- Good: Great screen and sound quality and it includes a FM tuner. Firmware is easily updated. Cheaper than Ipod. Supports WMA format. Battery life of about 20hrs and user-replaceable when it eventually dies. Can increase memory with SD cards.
- Bad: Nothing significant. Buttons are a little fiddly for those of us without slim fingers. Unfortunately can't play while connected to computer.

Great, compact player
- Good: Holds anything you need-photo's movies music, etc.
- Bad: When you delete songs they sometimes stay inside the player-i.e empty files. No normal SD slot
