If all goes as scheduled at Bethesda Game Studios, the first downloadable content (DLC) for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim — Dawnguard will arrive later this month. Bethesda game director and executive producer Todd Howard said that the DLC is "tentatively" scheduled for 26 June, according to Joystiq.
The content will arrive first on Xbox Live and will head to PlayStation 3 and PC at a later date. Xbox 360 gamers may not need to wait until 26 June to try out Dawnguard, as Bethesda is currently accepting applications to beta-test the DLC. Successful applicants will score early access to the content and will receive the add-on for free.
Dawnguard is the first expansion to the award-winning role-playing game Skyrim, and is rumoured to add snow elves and crossbows.
