Apple is also introducing a new thin keyboard along with the new iMacs. The new keyboard has audio and video controls at the top, and is available in either wired or wireless versions.
Current Mac users who want to use the new keyboard with an older iMac or Mac Pro can buy the wired version for AU$69 and the wireless Bluetooth version for AU$109. Batteries are included with the wireless version.

The latest MacBook looks identical to the old model but benefits from faster components. As a result, it's even better value for money.
Other vendors might offer more flexible configurations and better deals on components, and the specter of HD video looms darkly, but the 24-inch iMac's sprawling display and convincingly capable features should set most people's minds at ease.
We've seen some reports around the Web that the new 24-inch iMac has an upgradeable graphics chip. The story is indeed correct, but in order to clear up any confusion about what it means, we thought we'd clarify.

Dragon NaturallySpeaking 10 isn't perfect, but it's the best dictation software available. We don't find this upgrade necessary for the most basic dictation, although new features may benefit heavily-accented English speakers and those who rely heavily on voice commands.
MobileMe is the successor to .Mac, Apple's subscription service for publishing photos and other personal content to the Web.
iTunes 7 includes some great updates, like gapless playback, games downloads and a better interface, but Australian users so far miss out on the movie downloads available to American users.
If only for the speed, lightness of being and security alone, Firefox remains our Editors' Choice for best internet browser.

I want one now!! I've been waiting for the new iMac to come out to accompany my new MacBook. The only thing is, I want it with Leopard, so I guess I'll just have to wait a bit longer.
