By Jeremy Roche on 06/07/2005

More Google reviews , RRP: TBA

The good:

  • Lets you see the world without leaving your desk
  • Amazing detail in high resolution satellite images
  • Combines location-based data with bitmap images
  • Easy to use
  • Established user community and forums from legacy Keyhole product

The bad:

  • Addictive
  • Bandwidth intensive
  • Old PCs might not meet recommended system requirements
  • Only available for Windows
  • US-centric

The bottomline:

View any location in the world with this spectacular application that gives users a planet's worth of information at their fingertips. A broadband connection is a must and your system better be up to scratch. Be careful if you don't exceed your ISPs monthly download limit, though.
