Adobe Flash CS3 Professional: Compare  Editors' choice

By Elsa Wenzel on 26/04/2007

More Adobe reviews , RRP: AU$1245.00

The good:

  • Improved work flow, performance, and work space
  • Can import Photoshop and Illustrator layers
  • Converts animation to open-source ActionScript 3
  • Renders faster than previous versions

The bad:

  • Still tricky to learn
  • Some annoying ease-of-use quirks remain

The bottomline:

Adobe has improved the speed of Flash and its integration with other CS3 apps, although flashy new features are few. Plus, Flash now works natively on Intel-based Macs.
