Decent email client capable of handling many accounts and folders
Was using Eudora for years at work (use Palm for Calendaring, etc) so migrated to Eudora at home in sponsored mode. Have looked at other options like Thunderbird but always came back to Eudora.
Pros: Handles numerous accounts and large volumes of email and folders just fine. Use it to manage webmail acounts too. Mandated to use Outlook at work (so we could support execs problems) but still prefer Eudora. Have never had any email file corruption issues as you sometimes see with Outlook and Outlook Express.
Cons: Sponsored mode search sucks but Google Desktop search can replace.
Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd has started an account on the Twitter micro-blogging service, but it is not know if the politician maintains the account in person.
Google is rolling out video and voice capabilities for
the chat function that is embedded in the Gmail interface. It's a
bare-bones voice and video-conferencing service, but it's simple
to install and use and is a very good addition to Gmail.
Telstra subsidiary Sensis announced today that it would cease developing its local search engine, Sensis.com.au, instead using Google's engine to drive the site.
It seems like the only complaint that the cranky digital-media press can come up with for MTVMusic.com, the legendary pop-culture brand's new music video hub, is, "Why wasn't this here years ago?"
Britney Spears has become the latest celebrity to open an account on the Twitter micro-blogging service, although it remains unlikely the pop icon is the one updating her profile.
