AVG Anti-Virus 7.5 Professional Single Edition: Compare

By Robert Vamosi on 20/11/2006

More Grisoft reviews , RRP: AU$54.95

The good:

  • Inexpensive
  • Makes only a minor impact on system performance
  • Free version available

The bad:

  • Doesn't include antispyware tools
  • Rescue disk is floppy-based and only for Windows 98 and ME
  • Doesn't provide easy customisation for its scans

The bottomline:

AVG Anti-Virus 7.5 Professional Single Edition is a pretty good, no-frills virus scanner. But you'll need to purchase antispyware software for complete malware protection.
