Avast antivirus is great antivirus and its fast and efficient. This antivirus has software gestionale engine which helps to it work fast. This software skins are very stylish and good looking. I like it very much.
Pros: Simple workflow for novices.
Scans links in IM messages.
I have been using Avast antivirus for the last few years on both my home PCs. I feel secure that it is working very well to protect my PCs. Glad that it is FREE !!!

Small footprint. Doesn't seem to slow down / disrupt my work.

Cons: Menu Controls are not very intuitive.
I haven't yet figured out how to schedule a periodic scan.
