Good specs... but not the best... has been slightly out done by the latest Samsung 32 LCD M series- very similar but samsung has 3000-1 contrast ratio... and abit cheaper...I am starting to consider the LG 32 inch with intergrated HD tuner...specs are not far off sony and samsung ...and LG is much cheaper.mmmm...PS you can now get the Sony V 32inch for about 3700- with sony's hdmi set top box...but then where do you put your dvd players hdmi..as sony has only one hdmi input.. well you'd probably have to get a switch box (2x hdmi inputs into one) but you can add another $400-$500- to find one of those at the moment...

The 101cm is outstanding!
I have spent about 9 months researching LCD TVs and found the Bravia to be an outstanding set. Setting it all up was not too hard but not for the fainthearted. The hardest part of watching the Bravia is there is so much to look at.

A+
Saw this at the sony shop and was blown away at the shear clarity and sharpness of the image. I have not yet seen an LCD as good as this.

best specs i've seen
I have looked at a few lcds in the showroom, and the best i have physically seen is the Panasonic 32" (at 14ms and 800:1 contrast ratio) Very nice visually in comparison to LG and JVC 32" screens I looked at. If Sony's better specs produce a better picture with no ghosting (as 8ms would suggest) then how could one go past this Sony screen for pure picture quality???
I need to compare it side by side with the Panasonic at my first opportunity - perhaps Retravision have both that I might do a visual comparison. -

I have been looking around at 32' lcds and waiting... for quicker refresh response times..better contrast ratio...and resolution...hdmi inputs... so far being as a reader of lots of info ... the specs on the v series bravia appears to be the best all round so far... but the proofs in the pudding... I may wait to see what sharp brings out... as I was leaning towards them previously...it makes me wonder though why there aren't at least three hdmi inputs...or am I just being silly...
