Sony Ericsson W300i
By on 08 August 2006
The W300i has a few design flaws and a shoddy camera, but the music features, rich sound and funky look will satisfy most.

Nice Buy for the tekkie on a budget
Overall I loved it. Though the Camera could have been better its still good in a pinch (and takes better pics than my 1st two digital cameras did years ago). MP3's are easily attached to rings and alarms, and the pictures can be attached to the contact list for a more visually enhanced caller-id. Battery life keeps up with my needs though excessive use of the radio and MP3 player tend to drain the battery. Oh... and it has a phone too!
- Good: Great Sound - Packed with Features - Easy to Learn to use.
- Bad: The need for the external antenna to be attached for radio is a major pain.

Excellent! One of the best yet!
Excellent phone for students and the daily "traveller". I looked at all the phones in this price range, and this comes up on top; in terms of quality, functions, and performance.
Sony rarely makes mistakes.- Good: - Has an excellent battery life, even when using all of the phones functions for days.
- Generally has everything you could possibly want in a cellphone, plus a FM radio (with headphones on). lol
- Currently $99.00 Canadian with a 3 years Rogers contract.
- Sexy looking phone in "pearl white" or "flat black", just like an Acura. - Bad: Camera could be better, but that would definitely increase the price on the phone...
- Good: - Has an excellent battery life, even when using all of the phones functions for days.

The best phone available for the price!
I sold my IPOD NANO because this phone has become my primary MP3 player (better in so many ways). I hook this phone up to my car to play music, and sometimes use the internal loud speaker when in a room. I use my old SONY FONTOPIA ear buds with this phone when I walk, because I want to keep the new supplied ear buds for the future. I may shoot a few pictures and videos here and there, but mainly like to upload files from my computer using the supplied USB cable. This phone is completely customizable, and have already ordered a black silicone case from EBAY for 5.00 CDN shipped to my front door!
Don't buy a RAZR, as my girlfriend has one. The RAZR is over rated and is lacking what the W300i has!- Good: Great quality MP3 player with excellent sound enhancements (better than my IPOD NANO). Comes with stereo headphones (multiple ear pieces) that double up as a handsfree device. Detach the supplied headphones, and you are able to insert any 3.5mm (normal plug) into the adapter! Comes with 512MB card w/ adapter which you can also use with your PS2 etc (expandable). Direct link to your computer with supplied USB cable (charge, mp3, videos, pictures), and makes your phone into a USB storage device. It's very energy efficient, and comes Bluetooth, EDGE, infared, etc. I personally like the design of the phone inside and out. Phone reception is good because of the external loop antenna, that doubles up as a lanyard anchor. This is the best phone available for the price! I am now a happy man, too bad a couple of you are not...Why?
- Bad: The camera is the same type as the Motorola RAZR...
If you have fat fingers, some buttons may be difficult for you to push! That would be true for many things that you use in life though...
