Sony Ericsson W580i

By Kim Fong on 27 August 2007

Sony Ericsson's W580i is a sexy, thin slider that you'll want to carry in your pocket for its MP3 music player, radio or just to use the built-in pedometer.

    • Good: Everything
    • Bad: Idiots complaining about nothing.

I could swear half the people writting comments work for motorola or nokia. This is a great phone! Their very hard to find now but if you see one, give it a look. There very stylish and work great (buttons crack if you do first). I just came off an SGH-E720 which was my favorite phone up untill I got the W580i.

    • Bad: buying it.

Total crap i had the w580i 2 months then flash software problems. Another 3 months later it wouldnt turn on. visited carphone warehouse they said water damage and showed me a picture of a mother board of another phone saying this is the water damage. total crap then the phone started to work again only on vibration no sounds at all. \took it back to carphone warehouse, they wouldnt look at it because of the water damage they said it suffered total nonesense. I am claiming of my credit card company as i feel the phone is faulty and not fit for purpose.

    • Good: -Design
      - Excellent quality screen
      - Good reception
      - Loud speakerphone
      - Easy to use
      - Good camera quality
    • Bad: - Buttons crack very easily (mine is currently out having 3 of them repaired)
      - Walkman music application could be a little better
      - No Flash

this phone is by far my favourite phone ever. i hate to drop another brand name, but i would compare it to a mac, in that everything is logical and just makes sense.

    • Good: Camera is better than many others.
      Music quality is high end.
      Unique design.
    • Bad: Small LCD.
      Battery timing is too low.

Sony Ericsson W580i is best mobile in walk man set phones. I thing this high rate mobile is enough for any crazy music lover. Ends the edge of music quality. Sleek and extraordinary unique design makes it quite different from other. Camera quality is good.
