As well as summer price reductions, Sony is throwing in some nice bonus deals for Xperia Tablet Z buyers.

Even in the face of numerous tablet releases in recent months, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z remains the thinnest in the market, as well as being a rare option to deliver waterproofing, dustproofing and shock resistance all in a sleek and sexy package.

So it's good news to hear Sony is offering a few price reductions through to end of January to make this summer-friendly option even friendlier.

This brings the 16GB Wi-Fi model down to AU$499 and the 16GB Wi-Fi + 4G model to AU$649. These are both AU$30 off. That doesn't set the world on fire, but it's a nice extra if you were already considering a purchase.

The seriously great value deal is the 32GB Wi-Fi model priced at AU$579 — AU$70 off the regular price. This model will also include a bonus set of NFC-capable Bluetooth headphones, the DR-BTN200, worth AU$199.95 on their own.

These deals run until 31 January, but until the end of December, there is a further bonus of Sony Entertainment Network content (which is also available to all Xperia Z1, Z Ultra and Tablet Z owners). This package includes 10 free PlayStation Mobile game downloads, a 60-day Music Unlimited trial, five movie downloads as well as a digital copy of Elysium when it is released.

It's $599 and not $579 for the 32gb on Sony's website, and there's no mention of any free DR-BTN200. Can you please clarify what's the source of your info in your article?
