Known as the DS213air, it can also be set up without the need of a PC, thanks to Synology's DSM Mobile app, available on Android, iOS and Windows Phone. Amazon's Kindle Fire should also be supported.

A two bay NAS, it also has 2.4GHz wireless, runs on a 1.6GHz processor and 256MB RAM. The rear features two USB 3.0 ports and gigabit Ethernet.

Synology expects the DS213air to be launched in Q3 of this year.
