Asus MS236H

The Asus MS236H is an attractive monitor with a few shortcomings; the buttons are frustrating, and the lack of adjustability may annoy some. It does, however, represent excellent power savings, looks great and delivers acceptable performance.

Reviews

  • Asus VH232H

The VH232H is great on build quality, but stumbles on image quality. Colour accuracy isn't its strong point, sharpness is set too high and movie watching over HDMI isn't the best; but if you just want to do some basic gaming, it might fit your bill.

  • Dell UltraSharp U2711

Continuing its IPS assault on the monitor space, Dell outs a 27-inch, 2560x1440 wunderkind, with all the expected trappings to boot.

  • Dell SX2210T

We're still not convinced touchscreen monitors plugged into desktops without dedicated software is a good idea, and the SX2210t does nothing to change this. Combined with the heaviness of the stand and the cost, unless you absolutely have a hankering for touch, we'd suggest a normal monitor instead.

  • Garmin-Asus nuvifone A50

The nuvifone's Linux heritage can be seen in the M50, an Android nuvifone that certainly doesn't skimp in the navigation department.

  • Dell Inspiron Mini 10 (Intel Atom N450)

Dell's basic netbook adds better battery life and the newest Intel Atom CPU, and robust configuration options add a level of flexibility many other netbooks lack.

  • Asus EeeBox PC EB1501

We've yet to be truly bowled over by any nettop PC, and while this one is not the be all and end all of systems, if you yearn for a full keyboard and external monitor presence, it's a fair option.

  • Asus Eee PC Seashell 1201N

As one of the few netbooks with a dual-core Atom processor and Nvidia Ion graphics, the 12.1-inch Eee PC 1201N has superior performance compared with most Atom-based machines, but any higher-level ULV thin-and-light will still do better.

  • Dell Inspiron Zino HD

While our review sample doesn't quite have the power to be a usable HTPC, if you're willing to spend a little more Dell offers the upgrades to get there.
