Epson Stylus Photo TX800FW

The Epson TX800FW produces impressive colour prints, photos and text documents, and it outpaces the competition in almost all of our speed tests. We're impressed by its performance, but hesitate to recommend this printer based on the poor build quality and error-prone software.

Garmin Nuvi 265WT

With its relatively elegant traffic antenna and simple-to-use interface, the Garmin Nuvi 265WT makes a good case for itself.

Reviews

  • TomTom Go 730

Lane guidance is great and the over-hyped IQ Routes was pretty good, but the best news is that, one year on, the Go 720's faults (price, buggy features) are no more.

  • Garmin Nuvi 260

As per the 260W — an easy to use GPS, with great verbal speed and red light camera warnings which, unfortunately, aren't installed by default — but narrower and AU$100 cheaper.

  • Garmin Nuvi 760

If you're in the market for a GPS navigator with an FM transmitter and MP3 playback, not to mention excellent safety camera warnings, the Nuvi 760 is the one to go for.

  • Garmin Nuvi 260W

A good, easy to use GPS, with great verbal speed and red light camera warnings which, unfortunately, aren't installed by default.

  • Fujifilm FinePix Z5fd

It's thin, pretty, and reasonably fast, but exposure problems make the Fujifilm Z5fd hard to recommend to its budget snapshooter audience.

  • Olympus Mju 760

The Olympus Mju 760 is a great choice if you just want a small, light, weather-resistant camera, but beware of image flaws.

  • Dell 926 Photo All-in-One

The Dell Photo 926 is disappointing, even for a AU$100 multifunction printer. You can get a better printer for the same money.

  • Olympus FE-240

The Olympus FE-240 is slow and doesn't have any manual settings, but at least it takes good pictures.
