Microsoft Office 2010 beta: First take

The beta for Microsoft Office 2010 is here and we've had a chance to check out the latest version. Though the changes are more incremental than they are major, there are some useful new enhancements worth noting in this revision.

Snow Leopard (Mac OS X 10.6)

Intel Mac users will like Snow Leopard's smartly designed interface enhancements, and its Exchange support is a must-have (especially with Outlook for Mac on the way). With a ton of technological improvements, Snow Leopard is worth the AU$39 upgrade fee.

    Thunderbird 2 provides a compelling option for users looking for an open source e-mail client.

  • Kodak Easyshare 5300 All-in-One

    It's not surprising that Kodak's foray into cheap AIO printing does its best work with photos. We just wish it did better with text.
