  • Belkin Switch-To-Mac cable

Belkin's Switch-To-Mac package performs adequately, but at a high price for what's likely to be a single use cable.

  • HP 2309m

At a price of AU$649, the 2309m is a decent buy. While it performs well, the blacks aren't as deep as we'd like, and we'd be more tempted to find something with a matte screen to cut down on reflections.

  • EVGA UV Plus+

We suspect the market for DisplayLink devices is reasonably niche due to its limitations; however, for those doing simple work, it's a cheap way to get multiple monitors running.

  • HP LP2480zx

HP's LP2480zx is a sight to behold. Now if only we had a spare AU$4,200 kicking around...

  • Acer Travelmate 5720G

The Travelmate is an excellent notebook for business if you're interested in the 15-inch space, and you're happy with the 3kg weight.

  • Belkin High Speed Docking Station

If your laptop doesn't come with a dock, or you're looking for an alternative, the Belkin High Speed Docking Station almost has it all.

  • Acer LCD TV AT3705-MGW

If you are thinking about integrating a media server into your home theatre, this is the LCD for you.

  • Toshiba 27WL55 LCD TV

Toshiba's 55 series of LCD televisions buck the trend by placing speakers on the bottom, rather the the side, of the screen. SRS WOW technology is built-in to increase the level of "surround sound" produced by this arrangement.

The latest HDMI specification will offer networking capabilities with Ethernet connectivity and add an Audio Return Channel to enable upstream audio connections via the HDMI cable.
