TomTom XL Traffic (2nd generation)

Compact, correctable, good looking and easy to use, the TomTom XL is a great portable GPS. For AU$100 more there's this Traffic version with, uhh, traffic messaging built-in.
Uniden Trax 350

Available only through Harvey Norman stores, the Trax 350 has a 3.5-inch screen, 3D terrain, 3D landmarks and safety camera locations. It misses out on the Bluetooth hands-free of the 353 model, which is available everywhere.
TomTom XL (2nd generation)

Compact, correctable, good looking and easy to use, the XL is a great portable GPS. But does its wider screen justify the AU$100 difference between it and the otherwise identical One?
Mio DigiWalker C320

Mio's C320 GPS provides a good balance between affordability and features.
Nokia LD-4W

The right accessories make easy work of lugging about this well-designed GPS receiver.
Road Angel Navigator 3000

The Road Angel Navigator 3000 enters the entry-level GPS fray and provides formidable competition. We wish it came with an AC charger and better instructions, though.
Nokia 330 Auto Navigation

Nokia has made a decent first attempt at offering a personal navigation device but the product is marred by the lack of Bluetooth, and is outdone by its better equipped and similarly priced rivals.
Gogo CM 310

Despite the fact that on paper the gogo CM 310 seems to have quite a wide feature set, it's ultimately let down by the fact that, GPS aside, it doesn't really perform any of its extra features particularly well.
