Reviews

  • Sony NW-E105

Unsurprisingly, with native MP3 support and competitive pricing, Sony pits its player against the leaders of the pack.

  • SanDisk Sansa e140 (1GB)

Although it's an affordable flash player with a decent smattering of features, the e100 series won't win any awards for sound quality.

  • SanDisk Sansa e130 (512MB)

SanDisk's Sansa e100 series features a blue and silver model with 512MB and 1GB of memory, respectively. Both come with carrying cases, armbands and have SD expansion card slots.

  • Samsung YP-T7

Samsung's YP-T7 is a tiny flash-based MP3 player, which isn't as cheap as an iPod Shuffle, but it features a voice recorder, in-line recording, an FM radio and a 65K-colour screen that can display JPEG photos.
