Reviews

  • Sony Ericsson W508

The W508 is a great phone for listening to music and playing games, but it's yet another Walkman phone from Sony Ericsson that doesn’t really standout from the pack.

  • Sony Ericsson MBS-200

The sound produced by the MBS-200 isn't going to replace a good sound system at home, but it is enough to rock out to in your bedroom, or to take away with you on a holiday with friends.

  • Sony Ericsson HBH-PV740

It certainly looks the part, but this hands-free headset from Sony Ericsson struggles to give us what we want most — clear call quality.

  • Panasonic HDC-TM200

Like it's hard-disk cousin, the HDC-TM200 features Panasonic's new 3MOS image sensor, Intelligent Auto mode, "advanced" optical image stabilisation and a touchscreen LCD. Instead of a 80GB hard-disk, however, the TM200 has 16GB of built-in flash memory.

  • Sony Handycam DCR-SX40

Take the step down from the SX60 to the SX40 and you'll have to make do with only 4GB of internal flash memory. Other features, such as 60x optical zoom lens and YouTube uploading, remain though. You do gain a choice of colours (red, silver or blue) though.

  • Sony Handycam DCR-SX60

The headline act in Sony's standard-def flash camcorder range, the SX60 features 16GB of built-in memory, YouTube uploading and a 60x optical zoom lens.

  • Sony Handycam HDR-CX100

The new CX100 features less optical zoom (10x versus 12x) than the current CX12 model, but does get 8GB of built-in flash memory as standard, as well as optical image stabilisation, a blockier design and smile detection.

  • Corsair Flash Voyager 64GB

With more than enough space, some will be using Corsair's 64GB as a replacement for an external hard drive. Transferring this much data though will leave you wishing for more speed.
