Reviews

  • HTC HD2

HTC's HD2 reads like a perfectly balanced mathematical equation of geeky desire, and when compared to last year's Touch HD, this new model has pluses next to every spec.

  • Telstra T6

The T6 is the phone we never expected to see from Telstra. The price tag on the T6 is spot on for a phone with this feature set, and the Telstra Blue Tick should offer those in remote areas some peace of mind.

  • i-mate 810-F

Though able to withstand extreme conditions, the i-mate 810-F doesn't have a design that makes you feel like you have to carry it in a large backpack and, best of all, it is meant to be easily available to the regular consumer.

  • Samsung C5220

The C5220 is a passable prepaid from Telstra. Its low-specs are elevated somewhat by Next G compatibility, though there's little else to recommend it.

  • Telstra Turbo 21 modem

Telstra's Turbo 21 delivered the fastest wireless broadband experience we've seen. This excellent performance will be enough to justify its high price for some.

  • HTC Dream

Google's Android is awesome, but the Dream needs work. Parts of this handset are superb, but its lacklustre design and poor battery life hold it back significantly.

  • HTC Touch Cruise (2009)

Moving away from sleek iPhone lookalikes, the 2nd-gen Touch Cruise should find its market with road warriors who want the best of smartphones and GPS nav systems in one device.

  • HTC Touch HD

The Touch HD is a fantastic phone, if you can afford one. It out-performs every HTC phone previously and looks fantastic doing it.
