Virgin Mobile Broadband WiFi modem

This WiFi modem/router works well and provides great value on some plans, but we're still left wanting better performance out of Virgin Mobile's actual broadband.

Reviews

  • LG Xenon

Matching a touchscreen with a full-QWERTY keyboard at this price point is fantastic. Anyone looking to make their cyber-life mobile should check out the Xenon.

  • Samsung UltraTouch (S8300)

Its camera is great and the screen looks amazing, but the UltraTouch is not a knockout. It's a weird mix of business looks, average apps and dodgy performance, and we just can't tell who exactly Samsung is trying to sell it to.

  • Samsung S7330

The S7330 is little more than a basic mobile phone with a flashy-looking touch panel for navigation. It works well but it's a little pricey for the phone you actually get.

  • LG Shine (TU720)

LG makes some of our favourite prepaid handsets, and the TU720 is no exception. This new Shine matches good looks with great basic functionality and an excellent online experience.

  • HTC Dream

Google's Android is awesome, but the Dream needs work. Parts of this handset are superb, but its lacklustre design and poor battery life hold it back significantly.

  • HTC Touch HD

The Touch HD is a fantastic phone, if you can afford one. It out-performs every HTC phone previously and looks fantastic doing it.

  • Telstra EasyTouch Discovery

The EasyTouch Discovery is the perfect first phone for people who are not confident with mobile technology. Designed for ease of use, the Discovery has a few extra toys to play with once you've mastered the basics.

  • HTC Touch 3G

Amongst the numerous HTC handsets this year, the unassuming Touch 3G may not make the strongest impact, but it is certainly one of our favourites.
