  The HP Photosmart D7360 offers a varied selection of features, great print quality, and fast text prints, but if you need fast photo prints, look elsewhere. Otherwise, this is a decent option for amateur photo hobbyists.

  Google Desktop 4 beta is less clunky than its predecessor and we love the zippy search and creative Sidebar Gadgets. Still, we're wary of handing over our computing habits to Google's servers.

  The Gmini XS200 doesn't have a lot of extra features, but for its size it packs in a whole lot of storage.

  Spotty search performance hinders HotBot Deskbar's otherwise excellent set of features.

  This portable photo printer is economical, easy to use, and feature packed. But while its image quality is good, it's not outstanding.
