Telstra F850
By Alex Kidman on 29 December 2006
The Telstra F850 offers a relatively inexpensive way to jump aboard the carrier's Next G platform, as long as you don't mind travelling in the slow lane.

- Good: its cheap, warranty is replacement not repair.
- Bad: u pay for wat u get
Of course its not the best phone with the best camera.. its on a $20 ph plan! And the warranty is actually pretty good.. 12month swap over.. whereas with nokia or moto outside of 30days it needs to go away for weeks for repair!

- Good: Telstra make a lot of money
- Bad: At customer's Expense
Very! Very!displeased with this Phone. Activation never happened.I wasn't told that I must use a telstra sim card to be able to give & receive mms! I thought as a poor pensioner student I Was saving money,The deal I made over the phone wasn't incorporated in the contract, I'm still on a Vodaphone sim & am still paying this phone off in my housemate's name As I bought it over the phone & I do not have a Driver's licence & found out from telstra the other day That because the phone is more than Half paid for IT can not be changed into my name. Being a photograpy student this phone is useless. & I can't download the phone photo's on to my computer as I have XP Window's. My head get's blasted with all incoming call's, THE PRINT ON THE PHONE = far to fine for my eyesight. IN all it's a Cheap imitation of a good phone. Whatever happened to customer satisfaction?

- Good: Should burn well once i take out the battery!
- Bad: Everything everyone else has said I confirm.
This is the worst phone in the history of phones. I'm on my second and so is my wife. Getting a Nokia soon will have a ceramonial burning of both of them.

- Good: drops out constantly, to restore service after you go out of service area and return you have to remove and resstore sim card and battery
After using mobile phones for over 20 years you go back to the days of the old bag phone when you buy this lemon

- Good: None comes to mind.
- Bad: Buttons stick and ear piece is far too loud when call is answered
Pretty bad phone infact terrible, had 2 of them (one sent back faulty) and the replacement was just as bad. cannot believe Telstra used this phone for their "next G" network.
