If you spend any time in the kitchen, you know that cooking is full of maths and science. This Pi cake pan from Perpetual Kid (coming soon) just makes it more official.

Coming in at US$11.99, it's made of silicon, which is better for baking because it's flexible — it makes it easier to get the cake out.

We suppose that, if you wanted to get really clever, you could put a pie in the cake. Actually, that's exactly what should happen. Send us pictures. Or a Pi-cake-pie. It doesn't matter which.

And if we piqued your interest about the science of cooking, here or here are good starting points to learn more.
