An amazing teaser animation by artist Brian Andrews re-imagines swamp life with human skeletons.

Brian Andrews does a lot of work in the digital medium. His photo-manipulation series Hominid takes animal forms and reworks them around a human skeleton.

The teaser video below is more than a little disconcerting; it shows animals that live around a swamp going about their lives in x-ray, with each small body revealing a human skeleton contorted into a new form. It's a teaser for the Hominid collection, but we'd love to see something a little more short-film length.

Anyhow, if you love creepy shorts — and creepy it most certainly is — check it out in the video below, and head over to Andrews' website to check out more of his work.
