The TiVo personal video recorder is set to drop in price by AU$200 this week and will be bundled with either free movie downloads or cash back and a Wi-Fi adapter.

The pricing will drop from AU$699 to AU$499 on 12 November 2010 and includes AU$50 cash back or AU$100 credit on the TiVo internet TV portal, CASPA.

Meanwhile, the original device, which came with a 160GB hard drive, is being phased out and the 320GB TiVo 320 Media Device will become the default model.

The TiVo will be bundled with the TiVo wireless adapter, which is available separately for AU$69.95.

Its always a bugger when they drop the price on ya, doesnt matter when you buy your unit.

Heres a thought Tivo, why not give existing Tivo/account owners discount on Tivo accessories?
