Most popular mobile phones of JulyMotorola's 3G RAZR bumps Sony Ericsson's K700i out of the chart this month, while the 2-megapixel Sony Ericsson K750i breaks the stranglehold for the most popular phone from the O2 Xda II mini.

Sony Ericsson, the fifth largest mobile phone vendor worldwide, has no less than five handsets in the top ten. From the 3G-capable Z800i to the Walkman-branded W800i, there is an increasing focus on multimedia features, especially music. Vodafone recently announced that it would be offering a customised version of the Z800i supporting full MP4 track downloads, called the V800i, when the carrier launches its 3G service in October.

Motorola's ultra-compact V3 RAZR hangs on to fourth position while its 3G counterpart, which we caught a glimpse of at CommunicAsia 2005, bursts into the chart at number three. Is this the phone that's going to drive 3G uptake in Australia? We'll have to wait a couple of months for its release to find out.

This phone is awesome. Nothing on the market can match it. Who needs an extra FLASH? the phone has a bright in built light plus night mode camera. Tip: If u already have a Sony Digital camera simply stick the memory stick in it and transfer ur files over from computer/laptop.

O2 Xda II Mini

If you want a smart phone but want to avoid unsightly pocket bulges, you could do well to consider O2's slimmed down XDA II mini.

Excellent phone but stylus has to be used always.Lot of functions and that makes the price worth it..I guess its better than any other PDA phone.

Based on the design of the Motorola RAZR V3, the slightly thicker V3x is a 3G-enabled handset with a 2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth and an MP3 player. It is scheduled for release locally in the third quarter of 2005.

It looks very cool. i cant wait for this phone to come out, it has an mp3 player, 2mp camera, video talk and many more features. i just need to know how much it is...

Wish it had radio but most phones dont have radio anyway. the ringing tone is loud enough but ive never really had a phone that was much louder than this one anyway. memory is great. im satisfied with it.
