HTC Touch HD

The Touch HD is a fantastic phone, if you can afford one. It out-performs every HTC phone previously and looks fantastic doing it.

dopod 838 sucks... so big and bulky...doesnt even fit my pocket...would suggest blackberry 9000, nokia e71 or other nokia phones..

I have the HTC touch Pro 2. Awesome PDA. I had previously had a Dopod 838pro lasted 3 years no problems. I had upgraded to winmo 6.0

Bonus for HTC tp2 users, October 6 HTC will release winmo 6.5 for this PDA as a free download.

I have JASJAM for the last 3-4 years. Still works well today. Having said that the best business phone today has to be HTC Touch Pro 2. Got it since last week. The telephone features are excellent. The HTC Touch FLO is a joy to use.

I have a dopod 838Pro. The screen, buttons, sounds and programs often fail and require hard resets after upgrading to windows mobile 6. Will nto be buying any more HTC products.

Dopod, Jasjam - a dog by any other name. I've had 2 JasJams/Dopods for the last three years, and 5 screen failures. PITA.

My vote for the "best business smartphone" is the Dopod 838Pro.. Just grabbed one from www.pressdigital.com.au for $675 - and I've already got it running my price-books and push-email - plus the keyboard is excellent. Works a treat and the price was less than any of the others I tried.

The first company to offer a PDA phone that has a small numpad for phone calls plus a stylus for general interaction with the system and 3G capability is going to make some serious money. Everyone who I talked to who uses PDA phones wants one like this and there are no manufacturers doing it.
