Top camera bags

By Philip Ryan on 15 February 2008

You can buy the greatest gear in the world, but if you don't have the appropriate bag to carry it, you won't take it with you.

That's where these come in: whether you need a kitchen-sink carryall or a compact, public transport-friendly traveller, one of these bags or backpacks should stow your gear in style.

Lowepro Vertex 200 AW

If you need a bag to haul lots of photo gear through rugged terrain, Lowepro's Vertex 200 AW can get the job done.

This makes up for the abysmal review of the Tamron travel kit. These bags will serve photographers of all level well.I should also point out that the Vertex 200 is I believe the largest photographic backpack on the market t present that is small enough to be carry-on luggage. With space for a notebook and heaps of lenses, it certainly deserves top spot. However, none there for adventurers who may be taking gear into the wilderness or for water sports. Lowepro DryZone range deserves a review... hint hint.
