Top-rated products of March 2012

The year is starting to heat up, and March saw some really great gadgets arrive on our southern shores — not least of which was the Nikon D4 professional-grade SLR camera, making up for February's dry spell.

Lexy Savvides put the camera through some heavy paces, and found it an excellent performer on almost every level, with impeccable image quality and a great redesign that makes it more comfortable to use.

She also tested a cool accessory, the Olympus MAL-1 Macro Arm Light. It makes your camera look a bit like a bug, but produces some good lighting for your photography projects.

Stephen Dawson got cosy in the home theatre with the top-of-the-line Epson EH-TW9000W. He declares it excellent value for money, even though there are a few issues with the 3D.

Derek Fung awarded an Editors' Choice to the Belkin ScreenCast AV4, which declutters your entertainment space, even though he couldn't quite figure out how it works.

And it was iPad launch month. Love it or hate it, it certainly sets tongues wagging — don't be shy about letting us know your thoughts in the comments below.
