We tested many of the new Windows Phones 7 offerings that hit the market in October and were pleasantly surprised by what we found, with two handsets, the LG Optimus 7 and the Samsung Omnia 7, earning Editors' Choice gongs. If you're a crackberry addict, the BlackBerry Torch won high praise too for how it introduces a touchscreen into the BlackBerry range.
This is also the time of year when security vendors refresh their offerings and after a time when its image took a pounding, Norton is back on top with its Internet Security 2011. Of course, AVG would like you to upgrade and pay for its more comprehensive version, but the Free Edition of Anti-Virus 2011 is also worth a look.
There are lots of game titles with good reviews that you might want to add to your holiday gift list, along with the top cameras, TV, laptop, receiver, BD player, printer and router that CNET Australia reviewed in October.
