About The Author

CNET Editor

Former editor of CNET Australia, Pam loves being in the thick of the ever-growing love affair (well addiction, really) that Australians have with their phones, digital cameras, flat screen TVs, and all things tech.

If you're stuck driving an old jalopy, here's a news flash — there's a whole lot of awesome tech built into new cars these days. The sweetest thing to pass through our testing tanks in June just happened to be the latest Jaguar XJ, so loaded with cool stuff that Derek Fung's review needed a 10-minute video to highlight it all. OK, so it costs AU$200K — but your lotto numbers might come through this week, right?

Craig Simms also found several Editors' Choice NAS units. They're never going to elicit the same drooling reactions as the Jag, but in our digitally dependant age, these storage and back-up workhorses are increasingly vital.

Click through all of our top products below, and see the broad range of high-rating products that we tested last month.

I have had my kobo replaced twice with exactly the same problem. After a few weeks the screen gets all pixelized and becomes unreadable. When you search on the web there are so many complaints about kobos including the problem I had. Very poor quality control a complete waste of time. Set fire to $200.00 instead it's less painful.

You must be extremely unlucky, i have only had one returned with this issue.

You would also know that you are covered by waranty and can just replace it for another, not a huge deal.

Trust me i was not afforded the same luxury by ford when i bought a new car from them which was a complete lemon. 20k compared to 200

GT5 is actually quite dissapointing considering the wait, especially if youve had the joy of experiencing forza motorsport 3 on xbox.

That is true. I have both and was disappointed with GT5. Forza was a much better game and I enjoyed it more :-)

I thought it was just me thinking that. :p

GT5 is very good don't get me wrong however it just feels 'incomplete'
It doesn't have the same 'fun factor' as forza.
