Audio Technica ATH-ANC9
The ANC9s sound great, and even better when noise cancelling is active. Memory foam creates a comfortable fit, but it's just a shame that you need to keep AAA batteries handy to get the most of out them. 4

Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ30
The TZ30 offers a 20x optical zoom and is an excellent camera for travellers, fitted out with all of the tools you could possibly desire. Just make sure to pack an extra battery if you plan on a full day of shooting. 7

Veho 360 Portable Bluetooth Speaker
For AU$69.95, the Veho 360 isn't too bad. We'd only use Bluetooth if we had to, and even then only in very close proximity, but for what you get in the packet it's not a bad deal at all.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-GX1
Photographers looking for the next step in the Panasonic system will find the GX1 a worthy upgrade target, but with nothing to separate it markedly from its interchangeable lens competitors there is no compelling reason to choose this over the myriad of other options out there. 1

Nikon Coolpix P7100
While it's too large to fit inside a pocket, the P7100 provides all of the functionality and quality that you could need. It's a shame that its performance is not class beating, otherwise it would easily make a great companion to an SLR or ILC. 1

Sony Alpha SLT-A77
This top-end Sony camera ticks all the right boxes from image quality to blisteringly fast shooting. If only it had a better battery and was a little more snappy in everyday use, we would have no qualms in recommending it wholeheartedly. 1

Nikon Coolpix S8200
The S8200 will easily slide into a pocket despite its 14x zoom lens, and will deliver photos that are worthy of the family album — most times.

While most people definitely don't need a 24-megapixel camera, the Sony A65 has a range of other features that will attract photographers in droves.
