
Savage and Hyneman test the weight of some rubber tubing that is, for the moment, being used as a stand-in for a fish at the end of a line dangling into the water below. The idea is to reality-test whether the system they're designing will be able to adequately produce the flapping effect they want for the "flapping fish" myth they are going to investigate.
