Fan noise is more than hardly noticable. Anyone that claims it is not should have their hearing double checked.

Pros: Wonderful picture quality. The detail and colors are great. Bit on the pricey side but overall this is a good TV.

Cons: Fan noise is intrusive and very annoying at times. The only solution appears to be to let the TV cool down for a while although not so practical when watching something of interest.

We love our Sony Bravia tv. We do not have a problem with noise, we're happy with the picture and sound quality.

Pros: Picture and sound quality excellent. No glare on the screen. PIP, split screen and lots of other wonderful extras. Sleek modern looks, we can't fault it.

Cons: No cons to mention.

Fantastic tv. Some of the most vivid colour I've seen on HD set, and the image is so crisp and clear. I still prefer this set to the 9 series phillips...

Pros: Colour and clarity are for mine the best out there.

Cons: I could only afford the 40"

Fan noise can only just be heard with the volume turned down. So unless you have super hearing this is not an issue. This is the best TV I have ever owned.

Pros: HD TV is soooo lifelike, it feels like the images are real life!!

Cons: NONE!!

i have 3 plasma tvs and recently purhase the SONY XBR 40 inch for my bedroom. And i can honsetly say in terms of picture quality, it blows my plasmas out of the water. It has to been seen to be believed. The clarity of the picture especially when viewing a blu-ray disc is AMAZING.

Pros: Excellent picture quality, supports 24P, and good speakers.

Cons: The price. Probably the dearest LCD brand out there. But I guess you pay for what you get.

I recently bought this TV. Great TV. Graphics are sensational. They are clear and distinct. Looking at high resolution photos the TV really brings the colours out. Watching Blu Ray movies is so cool. I could watch my TV all day now. Playing the PS3, the games are so life like. I didn't even know these TVs had fans in them. Until I read the comments above.

Pros: I like the glass the surround, graphics and resolution are excellent. Sound is superior, I am in no rush to get home theatre sound surround now.

Cons: Only thing I can fault with my TV, is that sometimes you can see a slight flickering in it. But only on a still background like if you have the PS3 sitting there. When watching movies or playing games. I don't notice the flickering. People who have seen my TV don't notice it unless I tell them and even then they find it hard to pin point. Could be my eyes.

Great picture - but as reported above totally unacceptable fan noise which Sony seem unable to fix - makes TV almost unwatchable!

Pros: Picture quality

Cons: Unbearable, frustrating, and totally unacceptable fan noise.

really nice tv, overall really nice. the colours are a slight bit odd on standard settings, but easy to change. haven't noticed any fan noise

Pros: good picture, great looks lots of connections, good audio

Cons: blacks not quite up to scratch, compared to plasmas. image movement a bit off too.
