Good TV but the horrible backlight bleed
is really distracting. Blacks are not black, more like a ghostly glow thanks to the backlight not shutting off.

Pros: Picture quality
Looks

Cons: Patchy backlight bleed
Takes too long to change channels

What a TV this is! I was expecting to only be buying a V or W series but went home with a X series for less than I was expecting to pay. The good guys are the cheapest place around and still are a couple of hundred dollars cheaper a couple of weeks later. The best picture was the Samsung when I was looking, but a free PS3 was more than enough to make me change my mind! The speakers are great for just watching TV and are really all I use. Although if you are playing games or watching movies a home theatre really sounds better. It has also worked well as a computer monitor. The best TV I have ever owned!

Pros: Free PS3
Remote works with all my other components
Image quality (great for watching the Olympics & Tour de France)
Great to look at
3 HDMI components
Full HD and 100Hz

Cons: Takes ages to change the HD channels (Dont know if this is normal or just a Sony thing)
Blacks could be better
Spending $200 for a HDMI cable
Only has one HD tuner (so when watching two pictures one is HD and the other is only analog)
No swivel base

Help Please,
I have just bought this item. On a complete black screen ie; AV or similar I have noticed areas that are not pitch black and are slightly a foggy white.

Pros: Extreme Clarity
Looks Good

Cons: Inbuilt Speakers - Too Soft

Fantastic TV. HD programs in 1080i, in particular sport, are a sight to behold. Clean, crisp images, sharp colours and deep blacks. Hook up a Blu-Ray and it takes movie viewing to a whole new level.

Pros: -3 HDMI inputs, 2 Component, Optical audio and plenty of Composite.
-Beautiful colours and deep blacks
-Great functionality

Cons: -Unable to pass Dolby Digital audio from other devices to receiver
-Issues with audio sync from some sources

Amazing TV. I wasn't planning on spending this much money, but when I saw the quality next to the cheaper models I caved. Money very well spent. Several weeks on and I'm still blown away by the quality.

Pros: Incredible picture quality - particularly good upscaling. More inputs than I could ever use. Features are abundant.

Cons: HDTV channel changing a bit slow
