App of the Day: Brightgreen

Welcome to CNET Australia's App of the Day, where you can see some of the coolest, silliest and most useful apps in action.

Are you wanting to make the switch from incandescent or fluorescent lights to LED? Check out this free app from LED lighting designer Brightgreen. It lets you input a rooms dimensions and other information, and will then help you design a lighting system for that room by listing the number of lights needed and what kind of light will be best for you. It also has a nifty retrofit calculator, which will help calculate how much money you'll save by making the switch to LEDs, a catalogue of Brightgreen products and a store locator, so you can find stockists of the lights you want.
