CES 2014: LG HomeChat lets you SMS your appliances

LG's rolling out a unified communications system between their home appliances. You'll be able to text your appliances to do things like manage shopping lists. A complete suite of features are yet to be confirmed and the system will begin rollout towards the end of 2014.
