No it wasn't, you would be surprised by the amount of people who come by my work and have no clue about this.
It also takes a stupid amount of explaining to tell them that the colour of the cable doesn't matter when they come in demanding the "blue internet cable" because that's what someone else told them to get.

That was a waste of time. Everyone knows it's a network cable and it can come in any colour.
