Apple VP Schiller blocks video camera app to announce his own at WWDC?
Tomorrow at WWDC Apple will likely announce their own video camera app or video iphone. Over the past two months, Apple has blocked our breakthrough video camera app, iVidCam, and our attempts to dialogue with them. We have become deeply disappointed by Apple's practice of ignoring developers instead of dialoguing and partnering with us as they led us to believe they would do. We feel misled, mistreated and overall saddened by Apple. As iPhone OS 3.0 and a possible new iPhone gets announced, we wonder what the real future of the iPhone and Apple's relationship with developers is.
We've posted on our website, www.gpapps.com, our communication with VP Phil Schiller (the keynote presenter for WWDC) and his team that describes our ordeal with Apple.
Please share this story with your readers.
yours,
David and Susan Lee

MMmmmmmmmmMMMM............. Not my cup of tea yet. Will stick to my sony ericson. Does all that and more. My wife said that she will stick to her touch screen LG. No iTunes store needed to load her phone up with music of her laptop. Maybe the next generation.........or the one after that..........or the one after that.............maybe

No proper bluetooth!!! This should be added as a negative everyone needs and wants bluetooth!! But I guess you can still use it in your car systems and bluetooth handsets... But still most people need it more than that

Not impressed with the "Global" pricing. We
pay more than the US yet again. Might try to get one from overseas, I could get two for the price of buying one in Australia. -

Hi,
Great video. Just a note that the iPhone does include a manual (with the clever title "finger tips") with text and images showing how to operate the phone, camera, iPod and GPS functions of the device. It may not be the generous 60 page encyclopaedias that Nokia include, but it should be of assistance to most users. -
